After spending months in the shadows with The Nightstalkers Collection, I found myself drawn to something completely different. Where nocturnal creatures move through darkness with unapologetic purpose, birds claim their space with bold confidence and arrogance

It started with a single cockatoo sketch I'd been working on - this magnificent creature with attitude that demanded attention.

As I painted that first piece, I realized something: birds don't hide. They announce themselves. They take up space without asking permission.

Australian birds, especially, have this incredible character. They're not just wildlife - they're personalities. The cockatoo who screams at dawn because he can. The emu who stops traffic and couldn't care less. The little penguin who waddles with more confidence than most humans possess.

After exploring the quiet strength of creatures who own the night, I'm fascinated by these characters who own whatever space they happen to be in - whether that's the sky, the ground, or your backyard.

Birds of a Feather isn't just about feathers and flight. It's about the audacity to be exactly who you are, wherever you are.
